Slow Cooked Beef Stew
Loaded with rich flavours, our Indian take on the traditional slow cooked beef stew is the perfect remedy for cold winter days. Ideal for adding a bit of spice to your midweek menu, this recipe is easy-to-make, hearty and packed with flavour.

Recipe for slow cooked beef stew
RECIPE
Kohinoor Bhuna sauce – 1 packet
Diced Beef for stewing – 500gms
Cooking oil – 3 tablespoons
Salt – 10gms
Chopped garlic – 1 tablespoon
Potato cut into large cubes – 200gms
Carrots cut into large cubes – 100gms
Onion large dices – 100gms
Garam masala – ½ tablespoon
Chopped coriander leaves – 3 tablespoons
METHOD
Heat oil in a deep pan with a lid, add the chopped garlic stir fry until light brown. Add the diced beef and cook on high heat to colour the meat.
Add the diced onions and the Kohinoor Bhuna sauce and bring to a boil, the water, diced potatoes and carrots, reduce heat to low. Cover the pan and allow to cook slowly for 80-90 minutes until the meat and potatoes are cooked.
Adjust the seasoning, adding salt as required and add the garam masala. Serve hot garnished with chopped coriander
